I really enjoyed my meal. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the costillas, so that is what I ordered. It's exactly what I wanted and the tortillas are delicious! Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing food!!! Chuy’s was a randomized pick for local Mexican food while visiting Pitzer College. The food was perfection. Clearly home made everything mixed with very friendly staff (owner?) and clientele. As we sat and ate multiple families, tradesmen, and locals started piling in. Everyone knew each other and it was an enjoyable people watching moment. Highly-Highly recommended. We started with 3 Chorizo tacos, and a platter of Asada, Pollo and Al Pastor tacos. Then, we were still a little hungry and decided to try Barilla tacos and they were sooo good. They also had Mexican coke and Squirt for wash it all down. I would highly recommend you stop and grab a bite at Chuy’s.

Cute little authentic mexican food spot. Been here a few times and the food is always delicious! Staff is very nice and happy to serve. Nice place to have in Montclair!

Good place with great food. Took a little extra time because of the food we ordered, still over 25 minutes. Maybe next time will be a little faster. Will definitely go back.

Love This place!! The tacos are delicious and you can't beat the prices! $7.99 for 3 tacos rice, beans and a drink! Plus$1.00 street tacos.. I come almost every Tuesday :)

Took my parents here and they loved it so much. The food is always great been coming here for a while now and will continue to come here. Awesome food amazing people

Came here after a doctor's visit. Felt a g craving for Mexican food and I searched for something authentic. My grandmother ordered chicken soup and I had their lunch special of a torta al pastor (torta = Mexican style sandwich, in which the bread is replaced by the Mexican equivalent called a 'bolillo'). Later, In that same sitting, I also ordered a 'Mullita' (A quesadilla, except the toppings are squished between two tortillas). Food was a lot better than I had anticipated. Even grandmother was praising the food. The only small issue I found was that the restaurant didn't appear to have an AC, and instead had several a ceiling fans. Luckily it was a cold day so we didn't mind the warm restaurant. I definitely recommend coming here. On Tuesday, they offer a $1.50 tacos.
